Due to the deep waters and diverse structures out from Presque Isle, Lake Erie offers an incredible multi-species fishery. Docked at the prime marina for fast lake access, we target the finest waters of the Central and Eastern Basins to ensure a safe, memorable, and successful sportfishing outing.
Targeted Species on Lake Erie
Lake Trout
We troll for these hard-fighting bruisers from May through mid-June. They average 10–15 pounds, with trophies often exceeding 20 pounds, offering savage, drag-running hookups.
Walleye
We troll or drift for these delicious fish from June through mid-October. Averaging 2–5 pounds alongside 8 pounds plus trophies.
Smallmouth Bass
We target these aerial, hard-fighting bronzebacks nearshore in May and June before moving offshore. They average 2–4 pounds, with trophy-sized fish reaching 5 pounds or more.
Steelhead Trout
We troll offshore in deep waters for these spectacular, aerial fighters from mid-August through September. These lake-run rainbows average 4–8 pounds, with trophies topping 10 pounds.
Yellow Perch
We supply light rod, reel, bait and tackle for these tasty bottom-dwellers, making a somewhat perfect, non-stop action trip for families and friends. Best targeted August through September; its not uncommon to catch them two at a time.

Cancellation & Safety Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled charter date to receive a refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the charter date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled outing. We will wait up to one hour after the scheduled departure time. If your party does not arrive within that time, the deposit will be forfeited.
Your safety is our priority. If lake conditions are not safe or fishable, the captain may postpone the outing, reschedule your charter, or refund the deposit.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Leisure Time Charters has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs. No illegal drugs are permitted on board under any circumstances.
