6-Hour Morning Fishing Charter

Our 6-Hour Morning Fishing Charter is the classic way to experience Lake Erie when it's waking up and the rods are most likely to start bending. We like to cast off around first light, at 6:00 AM, but if your crew prefers a slower start, we can slide that to 7:00 AM without missing a beat. Either way, you'll have a solid six hours dock-to-dock, or we'll head in early if your group limits out on the target species.

We'll talk before your date about what you'd like to chase-most guests focus on walleye in summer and early fall, with chances at bonus steelhead or lake trout depending on the season. In May and early June we can lean into heavy-drag lake trout or smallmouth bass; by late summer perch and offshore steelhead become great options. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait for the style of fishing we're doing are provided, so you can step aboard with your license, a camera, and a small cooler for your own snacks.

This morning trip is ideal for small groups: couples, a few buddies, or families looking to make a memory together. Rates scale by group size so you can bring the crew that feels right without changing the experience on the water. The Tiara 2700 gives you a wide, stable platform, shaded cover, and a private restroom below, which keeps everyone comfortable from first lines in until we're back at the dock.

You can be as hands-on as you like, learning how we set trolling spreads, watch the electronics, and net fish, or simply relax while we work the deck. Either way, the goal is the same: a safe, productive morning on the lake and a cooler that tells the tale.
